How we handle
what you send us.

Jugaad Valley Labs is a small studio. This page says what happens to your information when you write to us through this site.

1. What we collect

Only what a form asks for: your name and email so we can reply, and the note you write. City, what you do, and a link are optional. Some forms let you attach a file. Our server records the IP address a form was submitted from, to catch abuse.

Please do not send financial details, identity numbers, or health information. We do not ask for them and do not want them.

2. Why we hold it

To read what you sent, reply to you, and keep a record of what came in and when. Nothing else. We do not sell it, trade it, or use it for advertising.

3. Who sees it

People working at the studio. Beyond that, only the services that run our website and email, and only as far as those services need to work. Some of them store data outside India. We will hand something over if the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries and submissions: three years from your last contact with us, then deleted. Records of work we actually agreed: for as long as the work runs and as long as the law requires. Security logs: twelve months.

5. Ideas and material you send

What you send stays yours. Sending it does not transfer any right in it and does not create a commitment on either side. We may already be working on something similar. We do not treat a submission as confidential unless we have agreed that with you in writing first. The terms and conditions page covers this properly.

6. Security

Encrypted connections, access limited to those who need it, and providers chosen with some care. No site is perfectly secure. If something happens to your data we will tell you.

7. Your rights

Write to info@jugaadvalley.com and you can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can withdraw your consent at any time. We may need to confirm who you are first.

8. Cookies

No advertising or tracking cookies. Anything stored in your browser is functional, and is not shared with anyone.

9. Complaints

Write to info@jugaadvalley.com. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will decide any dispute relating to it.
